We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Land Acquisition Manager to join our progressive construction team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated professional who has a go-getter attitude and loves working in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of land acquisition, including identifying potential land opportunities, conducting feasibility analyses, and negotiating and closing deals.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential land acquisition opportunities through a range of methods such as networking, broker relationships, and direct contact with landowners.
• Conduct thorough land feasibility analyses, including zoning laws, planned developments, market conditions, and financial cost-benefit analyses.
• Negotiate land acquisition deals, including price, terms, timelines, and contingencies.
• Manage the due diligence process on potential land acquisitions, including environmental, architectural, and geotechnical assessments.
• Collaborate with construction, planning, and finance teams to ensure that land acquisitions align with company goals and project requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with landowners, brokers, and other industry professionals.
• Prepare and present land acquisition proposals to company executives and stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and government regulations related to land acquisition.
• Assist in the development and execution of the company’s land acquisition strategy.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or a related field in the construction industry.
• Proven track record of successful land acquisition deals, including negotiation and closing.
• Proficient in conducting land feasibility analyses, including financial, legal, and market aspects.
• Strong understanding of land acquisition laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong networking skills and established relationships within the construction and real estate industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
