Candidates with 3-5 years of experience in a litigation firm are preferred. We are a defense law firm specializing in employment litigation and tort liability defense is seeking a full- time attorney.
- Prepare and argue law and motion, handle court appearances, take depositions, prepare and propound discovery, complete status evaluation reports, and handle all aspects of litigation.
- Experience with research/writing skills, ability to manage complex cases, and strong civil procedure skills
- Handling discovery and litigation discovery disputes, taking and defending depositions, conducting witness interviews, drafting and arguing pleadings and motions, day-to-day case management, and participation in trial preparation.
- Provide legal support to clients and assist Partners
- Maintain client relationships
- Prepare legal reports and documents
- Take depositions
- Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
- Advise clients on business and legal transactions
- Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
