Assessing and treating patients with cancer and blood disorders
Developing and implementing treatment plans, including chemotherapy and radiation therapy
Managing patients' symptoms and side effects of treatment
Communicating with other members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care
Keeping detailed and accurate medical records
Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in oncology research and treatments
Medical degree and completion of an accredited oncology residency program
Board certification in oncology
Active and valid medical license in Illinois
Experience working as an oncologist, preferably in an inpatient setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
