Responsibilities
As a Machinist/Programmer, your primary responsibilities will include
- Programming and operating CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam software to produce high-quality parts and components.
- Setting up and adjusting CNC machines to ensure accurate production.
- Analyzing and interpreting complex blueprints, drawings, and specifications to accurately program CNC machines.
- Performing regular maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborating with the manufacturing team to improve processes and increase efficiency.
- Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with CNC machines and programs.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest machining and programming techniques and technologies.
To be considered for the Machinist/Programmer position, candidates must possess the following qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using Mastercam software for programming CNC mills and lathes.
- Strong understanding of CNC machine setup and operation.
- Experience in manufacturing small batch parts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues with CNC machines and programs.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
