Job Details
Duties & Responsibilities
- Setup and operate CNC mills and lathes for machining operations
- Repair tools, fixtures, and dies
- Perform preventive maintenance on automated machinery
- Perform changeovers on equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair machine breakdowns
- Use blueprints to repair parts and machine components
- Use precision measuring instruments
Experience Needed:
- Machinist experience
- Experience with manual mills, lathes and boring mills
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues including hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues including wiring, drives, and motors
- Experience following preventive maintenance programs and report work completed
- Ability to operate a fork lift and/or overhead crane or be trained to do so
