We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Permanent Maintenance Manager to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of all equipment and systems within our manufacturing facility. You will also play a pivotal role in ensuring all operations are carried out seamlessly and safely. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a thriving and fast-paced environment, where your expertise in preventive maintenance, facility management, and equipment maintenance will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and systems to ensure their optimal functionality.
2. Lead, train, and manage a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
3. Oversee the facility's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality standards.
4. Troubleshoot and repair issues with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems promptly to minimize downtime.
5. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
6. Collaborate with other department leaders to coordinate maintenance activities and improve overall operational efficiency.
7. Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency of the maintenance department.
8. Ensure all maintenance activities meet or exceed quality control standards.
9. Analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance management role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Demonstrated expertise in preventive maintenance, facility management, and equipment maintenance.
3. Proficient in budgeting and financial management.
4. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
5. Familiarity with quality control principles and practices.
6. Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair issues with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. A degree in Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
