We are a leading manufacturing company seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Maintenance Manager to join our team. This role requires a highly skilled individual who can manage and coordinate all maintenance activities to ensure maximum operational potential is realized for all equipment and facilities. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales growth.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement a robust preventive maintenance program for all equipment and facilities, ensuring maximum uptime and longevity.
2. Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.
3. Manage and oversee all aspects of PLC programming, HMI, and automation systems.
4. Ensure all electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems are operating efficiently and safely.
5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs using lean manufacturing principles.
6. Train, develop, and manage maintenance staff to meet the changing needs of the operation.
7. Collaborate with other departments to schedule repairs and routine maintenance.
8. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, including proper use of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
9. Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring expenditure is kept within agreed limits.
10. Manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by the management.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a maintenance management role within a manufacturing environment.
2. Proven experience with CMMS, PLC, HMI, and automation systems.
3. Extensive knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques and best practices.
4. Proficiency in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
5. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
6. Experience with LOTO procedures and safety compliance standards.
7. Exceptional leadership and management skills with a hands-on approach and the ability to train and develop staff.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and make sound technical decisions.
9. Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent field, is preferred.
