Job Details
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Permanent Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in the Food Manufacturing industry. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where your skills and expertise will be put to the test. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery breakdowns
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery to prevent breakdowns
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems
- Perform welding, fabrication, and machining tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Work with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the facility
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in the Engineering industry
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting
- Experience with 3-phase motors
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Proficient in welding, fabrication, and machining
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends if necessary
