We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to join our rapidly growing Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our manufacturing facility's maintenance operations.
This includes ensuring the efficiency of HVAC systems, overseeing the use and maintenance of industrial equipment, implementing safety protocols, and supervising a team of skilled professionals.
This individual should be a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities :
1. Oversee and coordinate the workers who maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and other building systems.
2. Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems, and resolve issues or recommend solutions.
3. Ensure that all maintenance operations comply with OSHA standards and regulations to provide a safe working environment.
4. Supervise, evaluate, and train a team of technicians in various maintenance tasks, including HVAC systems, pneumatics, and welding hydraulics.
5. Manage relationships with contractors and service providers, ensuring all work is completed on time and within budget.
7. Plan and manage all repair and installation activities, ensuring work is completed on time with minimal disruption.
8. Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company and OSHA standards.
9. Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
10. Communicate maintenance plans and status updates clearly to team members and management.
Qualifications :
1. Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role for at least 5 years.
2. Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
3. Proficiency in using various tools, equipment, and procedures to repair and maintain equipment.
4. Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, including OSHA regulations.
5. Familiarity with HVAC systems, pneumatics, and welding hydraulics.
6. Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
8. Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in Spanish being a plus.
9. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Relevant certification or degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
