Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure efficient production of high-quality products.
- Design and optimize material handling systems to improve the flow of materials and reduce waste.
- Monitor production processes and equipment to identify and address any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent production issues from recurring.
- Develop and maintain equipment maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to safety, quality, and environmental sustainability.
- Provide technical support to production teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment.
What you need for this position:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Manufacturing Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.
- Experience with CNC machining and process optimization.
- Knowledge of material handling systems and equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma is preferred.
