Job DetailsWe are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Lean Manufacturing, boasting a skill set that includes proficiency in FAIR reports, PFMEA, Process Improvement, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Six Sigma. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
1. Developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
2. Analyzing and planning work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designing layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
3. Applying statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.
4. Coordinating quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.
5. Conferring with vendors in determining product specifications and arranging equipment, parts, or material purchase, and evaluating products according to quality standards and specifications.
6. Estimating production costs and effect cost reductions.
7. Implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
8. Conducting FAIR reports, PFMEA, and utilizing Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
9. Designing and planning the layout of the equipment using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
3. Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, PowerPoint and Excel, FAIR reports, PFMEA, Process Improvement.
4. Strong experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
5. LEAN Six Sigma knowledge is required.
