Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Enhance manufacturing productivity and quality through data analysis and cost-benefit assessments for equipment acquisitions.
- Contribute to the Design For Manufacturing (DFM) process from Preliminary Design Review (PDR) to product launch.
- Calculate production costs, implement improvement processes, and generate monthly reports on manufacturing trends.
- Coordinate Pilot and First Article builds, assess the impact of product design changes, and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
- Support Bill of Materials (BOM) development, address facility maintenance, and create layout drawings using CAD software.
- Stay updated on industry knowledge through educational workshops, classes, and actively contribute to team efforts.
What you need for this position:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical/electronics.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD Software (Preferred, SolidWorks).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- Experience working in a relevant manufacturing facility for at least 2 years.
- Mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting for at least 2 years.
