We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and experienced Permanent Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity to make a significant impact on our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for enhancing our manufacturing systems and processes, utilizing your skills in continuous improvement, process engineering, and injection molding. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, improving efficiency, and reducing costs. This role requires a deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Industrial Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering principles.
Responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing systems and processes, ensuring product quality, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
- Design and implement process improvements, from conceptualization to execution and follow-up.
- Work with injection molding processes, ensuring optimal performance and output.
- Use AutoCAD to design and modify manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing and production issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing issues to prevent recurrence.
- Train and mentor team members on new processes and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Participate in the development of manufacturing strategies and roadmaps.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Extensive experience with injection molding processes and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Proven track record in process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.
