In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing comprehensive MEP systems for a variety of projects. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop comprehensive MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, ensuring all designs are in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Utilize Revit, Visual 3-D, and other software to create detailed 3D models and design plans.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate MEP systems into overall project design.
- Conduct calculations related to load and energy consumption to ensure optimal efficiency of MEP systems.
- Evaluate and analyze the performance of mechanical systems, recommending modifications and upgrades as necessary.
- Prepare technical specifications, reports, and other documentation related to MEP systems.
- Participate in project meetings and conduct presentations as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in MEP engineering and incorporate new techniques and technologies into your work.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a focus on HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in Revit, Visual 3-D, and other relevant software for mechanical design.
- Strong understanding of mechanical theories, engineering principles, and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to MEP systems.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is REQUIRED.
