1. Utilize SolidWorks and CAD software to create and modify detailed 3D designs for complex projects.
2. Develop and implement mechanical design concepts for product development.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into effective and efficient mechanical designs.
4. Conduct prototyping and testing activities to validate design concepts and ensure they meet all required specifications and standards.
5. Manage and execute engineering changes, including updating drawings, bill of materials, and ensuring all relevant documentation is accurate and up to date.
6. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve product quality and performance.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
8. Ensure all design activities comply with company quality policies and regulatory requirements.
What you need for this position:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD software is a must.
4. Strong understanding of mechanical design concepts and principles.
5. Proven experience in prototyping, testing, and managing engineering changes.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
