Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design mechanical components and systems using CAD/CAE tools like Creo or Solidworks.
• Conduct complex mechanical analyses using FEA tools and interpret the results to provide design guidance.
• Use knowledge of manufacturing technologies such as stamping, molding, and plating to optimize designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop innovative solutions.
• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
• Ensure products meet regulatory standards and safety requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and clients, presenting design reviews and project updates as necessary.

What you need for this position:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering role.
• Proficiency in Solid Modeling/CAE/CAD Tools (Creo, Solidworks).
• Experience with FEA Tools (Finite Element Analysis).
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Technologies (stamping, molding, plating).
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Proven experience in product development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong project management skills.
