We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Med Surg RN to join our dynamic team in the medical industry. As a Permanent Med Surg RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients and ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to patients in the Med Surg unit
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Current Med Surg Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med Surg setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
