Job Details
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mental Health Therapist to join our team of mental health professionals. As a therapist, you will work with individuals who are dealing with a range of mental health issues, including chemical dependency, substance abuse, and behavioral health concerns. You will provide therapy and support to help clients manage their symptoms, develop coping strategies, and improve their overall mental health and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and develop treatment plans accordingly.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients with a range of mental health issues, including chemical dependency, substance abuse, and behavioral health concerns.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure clients receive comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices and emerging trends in mental health therapy.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field.
- Active state licensure as a mental health therapist.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health therapy to clients with chemical dependency, substance
abuse, and behavioral health concerns.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions for mental health issues.
- Understanding of state and federal regulations related to mental health therapy and client confidentiality.
- All shifts available - inpatient/outpatient, days, nights, evenings, weekends
- LICSW, LSWAIC, LMHC, LMHCA, LMFT, or LMFTA preferred
- CPR and CPI preferred
