Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess patients' vision and eye health
- Diagnose and treat vision problems, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism
- Prescribe corrective lenses, such as glasses or contact lenses, or other treatments as necessary
- Educate patients on proper eye care and hygiene practices
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as ophthalmologists, to provide coordinated care for patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in optometry and eye care technology
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
- Valid state license to practice optometry
- Experience as an Optometrist
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dedication to providing exceptional patient care
- Knowledge of the latest advances in optometry and eye care technology
