We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Law Paralegal to join our thriving legal team. This role is instrumental in supporting our corporate legal department with a variety of duties related to corporate law. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing corporate records, handling legal documents, and assisting with corporate transactions. Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents such as annual minutes, shareholder agreements, and other corporate documents.
2. Maintain corporate records and ensure compliance with Finsen requirements and other relevant statutory requirements.
3. Facilitate annual LLC renewals and manage all related documentation and processes.
4. Conduct legal research and provide summaries of findings to support legal team in decision making.
5. Utilize dictation skills to record and transcribe verbal communications and meetings.
6. Collaborate with legal team to manage and mitigate corporate legal risks.
7. Liaise with external legal counsel and internal stakeholders to facilitate corporate transactions.
8. Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and in compliance with data privacy regulations.
9. Support the legal team in other corporate legal matters as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Law, or a related field. A paralegal certificate is a plus.
2. Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Paralegal in the corporate sector.
3. Proficiency in dictation and the ability to transcribe information accurately.
4. Deep understanding of corporate law, including limited liability, shareholder agreements, and Finsen requirements.
5. Experience with annual LLC renewals and maintaining corporate records.
6. Strong research skills with a keen attention to detail.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
11. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
