Responsibilities:
As a Payroll Manager, you will:
1. Oversee the processing of bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and governmental regulations.
2. Manage all aspects of payroll administration, including garnishments, wage assignments, overtime, and bonus payments.
3. Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
4. Prepare and maintain accurate headcount reporting.
5. Handle any payroll changes, processing timecards, and other related tasks.
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant Payroll Laws and regulations.
7. Manage workers' compensation claims, ensuring they are processed and paid accurately.
8. Utilize Ultimate Software and Ultipro for payroll processing and HRIS reporting.
9. Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate and timely HRIS reporting.
10. Keep up to date with GAAP and ensure all payroll activities are in line with these principles.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a payroll management position, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
2. Extensive knowledge of payroll administration, including garnishments, wage assignments, overtime, and bonus payments.
3. Experience with processing bi-weekly payroll and maintaining accurate headcount reporting.
4. Proficiency with Ultimate Software, Ultipro, and other payroll and HRIS reporting systems.
5. A solid understanding of Payroll Law and governmental regulations related to payroll.
6. Experience conducting payroll audits and managing workers' compensation claims.
7. Knowledge of GAAP and its application to payroll activities.
8. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
10. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
