Job Details

This role is critical to our organization as you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing for our multi-state operations. You will also be the go-to person for all payroll-related inquiries and will work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth and efficient payroll operations. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire payroll process for multi-state operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
• Supervise and mentor payroll team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Manage the administration of garnishments, benefits, and taxes in compliance with federal and state laws.
• Oversee the processing of 401K contributions and manage related audits.
• Review and approve timecards for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Act as a point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries, providing excellent customer service to employees and management.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations and accurate financial reporting.
• Stay up-to-date with current regulations, best practices, and industry trends in payroll processing.

Qualifications:

• 3 years experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role, preferably within multi-state operations.
• Solid understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws.
• Proficiency in payroll software, particularly ADP Payroll.
• Experience with garnishments, benefits administration, and 401K contributions management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of FMLA and its impact on payroll is a plus.
