Job Details
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performing physical therapy treatments and procedures.
- Instructing, motivating, and assisting patients to learn and improve functional activities.
- Observing patients during treatments, compiling, and evaluating data on patient responses, and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
- Fitting patients for orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices, and providing training in their use and care.
- Collaborating with physical therapy staff and other healthcare professionals to exchange patient information and coordinate treatment programs.
- Supervising physical therapist assistants and providing instructions to physical therapy aides.
- Assessing patient range-of-joint motion, body part measurements, and vital signs to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
- Monitoring the performance of physical therapy aides.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation within expected productivity ranges.
- Managing caseload intensity, demand, and frequency effectively.
- Acting as a Clinical Instructor to students when applicable.
Qualifications:
- PT license in New Jersey
- 1 to 10 years of experience at a Physical Therapist
- New Grads Welcome to Apply
- Outpatient background or willing to work in an outpatient setting
- Highly focused with 1 on 1 quality patient care
