Job Details

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing physical therapy treatments and procedures.
• Instructing, motivating, and assisting patients to learn and improve functional activities.
• Observing patients during treatments, compiling, and evaluating data on patient responses, and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Fitting patients for orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices, and providing training in their use and care.
• Collaborating with physical therapy staff and other healthcare professionals to exchange patient information and coordinate treatment programs.
• Supervising physical therapist assistants and providing instructions to physical therapy aides.
• Assessing patient range-of-joint motion, body part measurements, and vital signs to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Monitoring the performance of physical therapy aides.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation within expected productivity ranges.
• Managing caseload intensity, demand, and frequency effectively.
• Acting as a Clinical Instructor to students when applicable.

Qualifications:

• PT license in New Jersey
• 1 to 10 years of experience at a Physical Therapist
• New Grads Welcome to Apply
• Outpatient background or willing to work in an outpatient setting
• Highly focused with 1 on 1 quality patient care
