Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Pre-Construction Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Boilermaker, Millwright, Estimator, and Sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience. As a Pre-Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and design of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the pre-construction process, including design, budgeting, and scheduling
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Coordinate with project managers and superintendents to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring that all deadlines are met
• Ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained before construction begins
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that work is progressing according to plan
• Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
• Manage and mentor a team of construction professionals, including estimators, project managers, and superintendents

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Boilermaker, Millwright, Estimator, and Sales
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
• Willingness to travel to construction sites as needed
