As the Product Owner in the energy industry, you will play a critical role in envisioning, developing, and managing innovative solutions that drive our business forward. This role will require a unique blend of thinking strategically, analytically, and creatively to drive digital products that will transform the way we approach energy production, management, and consumption. You will be responsible for guiding the development of our products from conceptualization to launch, working closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and business stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and evolving industry.
Responsibilities
1. Define and communicate product vision and strategy based on an in-depth understanding of our customers, technology, and competition.
2. Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define product requirements, make decisions, and finalize the product scope.
3. Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing product features based on business and customer impact.
4. Work closely with the Scrum team to ensure a well-groomed product backlog, creating clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
5. Oversee the development stages, ensuring that the product meets the pre-defined criteria and the team adheres to Agile methodologies.
6. Use Figma and Miro to create and communicate product designs and workflows.
7. Lead product launches, coordinating with multiple teams to ensure successful delivery.
8. Use data and analytics to drive decisions about product direction and performance.
9. Foster an environment of continuous improvement and innovation, encouraging the team to challenge assumptions and propose new ideas.
Qualifications
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Product Owner role, preferably within the energy industry.
2. Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
3. Solid understanding of Agile principles and experience with Scrum framework.
4. Hands-on experience with Miro and Figma for creating product designs and workflows.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
6. Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes.
9. Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
10. Strong passion for the energy industry and its future direction.
