Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Production Manager to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality products in a fast-paced environment. This position will require the individual to have a deep understanding of production planning and scheduling, continuous improvement, LEAN Manufacturing, cGMP food, and at least 5 plus years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand while maximizing production efficiency and minimizing costs.
• Lead and manage a team of production supervisors and operators to ensure that all production targets are met.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including cGMP food.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and logistics, to ensure that production goals are achieved.
• Develop and maintain production metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure that production is not impacted by stock shortages or excess.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 plus years of experience in a production management role in the Manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling, continuous improvement, LEAN Manufacturing, and cGMP food.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software.
