Job Description:
As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, from planning and scheduling to ensuring the final product meets quality standards. You will play a key role in optimizing production efficiency, managing resources, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resources and minimizing costs.
- Supervise and lead the production team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure seamless production processes.
- Monitor production metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Oversee the maintenance of equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to enhance production processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Production Manager, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Experience with production planning and scheduling software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
