Job Details

Responsible for managing the production and processes on the shift

Responsible for leading operators, die setters, process technicians, tool and die maintenance and machine cells

Ensure manufacturing safety, performance, quality and KPI quality goals are met.

Description of activities (List of all key tasks / processes actually carried out) :

Is in charge of the current production and quality in his / her department.

Creates daily shift and quality reports.

Takes measures which are necessary to meet the production targets.

Ensures that all work instructions are visible, understandable, and up to date.

Initiates repairs and ensures that they are completed in a timely manner.

Is in charge of the heat treatment process, which includes the controlling of current parameters and equipment technology.

Controls the hardness after the heat treatment according to the test sample.

Ensures that all employees are using all equipment, tools and working materials safely.

Must be knowledge of all processes at CPC Plant and able to assist in any department or line depending on the needs of the shift.

Must be able to support break schedule and / or vacation coverage.

Responsible for OEE and continues improvement opportunities of the shift.

All duties included in above and other responsibilities as deemed appropriate by Management.

Work Environment

Responsible for identifying Environmental Aspects for his / her department, and supporting Environmental Management Plan(EMP) goals and targets through training, engagement and communication.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee must comply with all safety regulations and proper operating procedures, utilizing required safety equipment at all times

Education / Required professional training :

Special requirements :

Q-Experience ASTM-Standard

Associates Degree Required or Equivalent Experience

Radiation protection training

X-Ray / LPI Certified

Able to support any shift

Ability to work in a team sense of responsibility

Reports line to :

CPC Production Leader and upwards

Supervise :

CPC Material Handler / CNC Tech

CNC Operator / CPC Setter / Tool & Die Repairer / Melting Operator / CPC Operator / NDT Tech.
