Job Details

As a production line supervisor, you'll lead operations with safety as your top priority. You'll ensure the line runs smoothly by inspecting for hazards, keeping safety reports up-to-date, and overseeing efficient production.

Your role involves reading specs, upholding quality standards, and managing changeovers and packing. You'll also assist the Production Manager and troubleshoot machinery.

Plus, you'll have the authority to recommend disciplinary actions when needed. Flexibility, proactivity, and a readiness to embrace change are key in this role.

Key Responsibilities :

• Before each shift, check the work area for safety hazards.
• Keep an eye out for safety and quality compliance during operations.
• Ensure all safety gear is worn and safety protocols are followed.
• Confirm the right components are available for production.
• Assign tasks to line workers and train them to meet production goals.
• Keep the production area clean and organized.
• Update production records regularly.
• Oversee quality checks and address any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the Production Manager on any production concerns

Ideal Candidate Qualifications :

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Preferably 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Goal-oriented and able to thrive in a competitive environment.
• Capable of working independently and taking initiative.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Outlook and Excel.
