Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Accountant to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, construction, and Procore software. As a permanent member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project accounting, including accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will work closely with our project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure that all financial aspects of our projects are managed effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of project accounting, including accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure that all financial aspects of our projects are managed effectively and efficiently.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Develop and maintain project budgets and forecasts, ensuring that all expenses are tracked and accounted for.
- Review and approve invoices and purchase orders, ensuring that all expenses are properly documented and accounted for.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Provide support to the project team by answering questions and resolving issues related to project accounting.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting policies and procedures, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new accounting systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, construction, and Procore software.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Procore software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
