We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Project Engineer to join our expanding team in the construction industry. This opportunity provides a chance to work on a diverse range of multifamily construction projects, where you will play a key role in the successful delivery of structural engineering and construction tasks. As a Project Engineer, you will be integral to the project life cycle, from inception to completion, ensuring all projects are executed to the highest standard, on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of the project, from the initial planning stage to project completion.
2. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to create and implement detailed project plans.
3. Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards and specifications.
4. Prepare status reports and regularly monitor budgets, contractors and schedules.
5. Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projects.
6. Perform or oversee soil testing to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations.
7. Test building materials, such as concrete, asphalt, or steel, for use in particular projects.
8. Provide technical advice to industrial or managerial personnel regarding design, construction, program modifications, or structural repairs.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. preferred
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in multifamily, structural engineering, and construction.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Sound understanding of physics and mathematics.
5. Excellent communication and project management skills.
6. Proficiency in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD.
7. A professional engineer's (PE) license is preferred but not required.
8. Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear and concise manner to all levels of the organization.
