RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Direct the day-to-day operations of the operations of Projects, implementing plans and policies to achieve overall company objectives to insure maximum operating results
Implement company policies and procedures for each Project within the framework of corporate policy
Provide comprehensive reports of the following financial aspects of all jobs managed: Project Summary, Job Profit Analysis, Labor Efficiency, and Cost to Completion projection
Able to communicate with the customer to identify needs and deal with circumstances for “in scope” and “out of scope” work
Understand a project estimate that has been put together by someone else, to ensure job execution per the estimate and associated scope of work
Draft and manage a detailed schedule for any job up to $1M in size
Develop Project related policies, plans and programs that will insure accomplishment of Company objectives
Provide leadership, direction and management for Project employees to optimize Project expenditures, manpower usage and operational objectives
Plan, staff, and supervise Project activities with the support of the Branch Manager
Build customer relationships to develop the company and enhance the professional reputation of the Company
Participate and contribute to professional organizations outside the electrical construction industry and in community service organizations to grow White Electricals’ involvement in business and economic growth
Foster a superior customer service attitude with every customer you come into contact with
Coordinate and confer with Project staff and/or Field Leaders to resolve any problems or difficulties that arise
Coach, mentor, and direct the development of Field Leaders to improve and enhance their contribution to the Branch and the Company
Develop an ongoing plan to establish, maintain, grow and acquire Field Leadership talent
Enable others to act. Foster collaboration by promoting cooperative goals, building trust and serving as a role model for others
Manage multiple projects at the same time

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, OR equivalent combination of industry experience, education and training
Minimum 7 years’ experience in specialty trade construction including project management experience
Project management experience must include estimating as well as execution
Able to write a Scope of Work Letter for jobs estimated up to $1 million and able to perform estimates on a job of simialr size
Must have the proven judgment and ability to motivate employees to maximum individual and team effort
Strong attention to detail and quality
Must have proven leadership qualities and the ability to communicate with direct reports in a clear, logical, concise and timely manner and prioritize communications effectively
Direct Reports include:
Asst. Project Managers
Superintendents
General Foreman
Foreman
Lead Journeyman
Other Adminstrative or field staff
Additional Notes
Zero tolerance, certified drug and tobacco free workplace
Behavioral/Personality assessment as part of interview process
