We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Permanent Project Manager to join our dynamic and innovative Engineering team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and has a passion for land development and civil engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a deep understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D and a solid background in land development.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee various engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Lead project planning sessions, coordinating with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
3. Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining the project's scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
4. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
5. Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to design, develop, and implement land development projects.
6. Monitor and report on project progress, proactively identifying and resolving any issues that could impact project delivery.
7. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
8. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
9. Ensure all project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
10. Conduct project review and create detailed reports for executive staff.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role within the engineering industry.
3. Proven experience in using AutoCAD Civil 3D for land development projects.
4. Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
5. Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
8. Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
9. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
10. PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
