Job Details
Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Manager to join our team in the muti-family property management industry. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of multi-family real estate properties and ensuring that they are running efficiently and effectively. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and financial performance
- Maintain a high level of resident satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues in a timely manner
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents and retain current ones
- Ensure that all properties are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and other financial documents
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure that they are well-maintained and in good condition
- Hire, train, and supervise on-site staff, including leasing agents, maintenance personnel, and administrative staff
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers
- Oversee lease-ups of new properties and ensure that they are fully leased as quickly as possible
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and community leaders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
- Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation or equivalent certification
- 5 years of experience in property management, preferably in multi-family real estate
- Strong knowledge of lease-ups, apartment operations, and financial management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
