Job Details
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety or related field.
- Minimum five years of safety experience in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and reporting procedures.
- Ability to work nights and weekends and multitask effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate company safety programs, ensuring compliance with laws.
- Create safe work environments at project sites and offices.
- Implement safety policies and procedures in line with OSHA rules.
- Administer accident and hazard communication programs.
- Correct unsafe practices and inspect work locations for hazards.
- Evaluate and improve contractors' safety programs.
- Conduct accident investigations and provide training.
- Enforce safety policies and manage contractor training.
- Oversee Workers' Compensation program and reduce employee lost time.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare materials for legal matters.
- Hire, train, and manage staff.
- Provide safety materials, maintain files, and prepare exhibits.
- Perform physical tasks during project site visits.
