We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Safety Specialist to join our dynamic team in the energy industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a safety professional who is passionate about promoting a culture of safety, reducing risk, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations in the fast-paced world of energy production. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring the company meets all safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Implement and manage safety programs to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries, illnesses, deaths, and financial losses.

2. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and investigations, and ensure corrective actions are taken as necessary.

3. Develop and deliver safety training programs for all employees to foster a culture of safety awareness and compliance.

4. Serve as the Site Safety & Health Officer, ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to at all times.

5. Keep abreast of changes to safety regulations, including NEC Codes and OSHA, and ensure company compliance.

6. Develop, implement, and monitor safety performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

7. Coordinate with management and staff to implement effective solutions for safety-related issues.

8. Oversee PV Solar safety, ensuring all safety measures are in place and followed.

9. Conduct risk assessments and propose strategies to minimize potential hazards.

10. Prepare and present reports on safety-related incidents and prevention measures to management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a safety role within the energy industry.

3. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification preferred.

4. Extensive knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including NEC Codes and OSHA.

5. Experience in PV Solar safety is a must.

6. Proven experience as a Site Safety & Health Officer.

7. Ability to develop and implement safety performance metrics.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and influence others.

9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential safety risks and propose effective solutions.
