We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-driven Permanent Senior Accountant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in our fast-paced, growing organization. As a Financial Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial reports to ensure the organization's financial health. This role requires extensive knowledge in areas such as V-lookups, data visualization, budgets, forecasts, cost efficiencies, profitability, and monthly and quarterly corporate reporting requests.

Responsibilities

As a Financial Reporting Accountant, your core responsibilities will include

• Preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Conducting detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and anomalies in the data.
• Utilizing PowerBi V-lookups, X-lookups and other advanced Excel functions to manipulate and analyze large data sets.
• Creating compelling data visualizations to communicate financial performance and forecasts to key stakeholders.
• Developing comprehensive financial forecasts and budgets, and monitoring performance against these plans.
• Identifying and implementing cost efficiencies to drive profitability and organizational growth.
• Responding to ad-hoc corporate reporting requests and conducting special projects as needed.
• Ensuring all financial reporting is compliant with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Financial Reporting Accountant position will possess the following qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's Degree or CPA certification would be a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in V-lookups and other advanced Excel functions.
• Strong experience in data visualization and financial analysis.
• Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
