We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced finance team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to contribute to the financial health and growth of our company. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and coordinating all aspects of our accounting operations. From general ledger management and budgeting to financial accounting and payroll processing, this role is integral to our financial planning and decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, your core responsibilities will include:
1. Maintaining and managing all aspects of the general ledger.
2. Conducting regular bank reconciliations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
3. Assisting in the month-end close process, including the preparation and posting of journal entries.
4. Overseeing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring payments are made and received in a timely manner.
5. Developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive budgeting processes.
6. Processing payroll in an accurate and timely manner.
7. Preparing financial statements and reports, and providing relevant financial data to management for strategic decision-making.
8. Ensuring compliance with all internal and external accounting standards and regulations.
9. Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to streamline financial operations and processes.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this critical role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. An Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the finance industry.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including General Ledger, Budgeting, Financial Accounting, and Payroll Processing.
4. Proven experience with journal entries, bank reconciliations, and assisting in month-end close.
5. Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable processes.
6. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of management.
8. Proficiency in using accounting software and other financial management tools.
