Job Details

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Audit Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for both remote and in-office work. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting, public audit, client interface, audit management, and client engagement. As a Senior Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing audit engagements, ensuring the quality of audit work, and supervising a team of auditors.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead audit engagements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
• Supervise and mentor a team of auditors, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact for all audit-related matters
• Plan and execute audit procedures, including risk assessment, testing of controls, and substantive testing
• Review and analyze audit findings, ensuring accuracy and completeness of audit reports
• Identify and communicate audit issues and recommendations to clients, providing guidance and advice on how to address them
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and accounting standards, ensuring compliance and best practices
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of audit activities
• Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing, presentations, and client meetings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting, client interface, audit management, and client engagement
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering quality work
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit software
