Job Details
Senior Cost Accounting Manager will support the acquisition and transition from the 2 companies, supporting the Controller with various close out functions of the balance sheet in proprietary software. Advanced Excel is a must!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create reports and balance sheets that document overall profits and losses
- Job Costing and variance analysis
- Manage and oversee the daily operations; month-end process, AP/AR, cash receipts, GL, payroll/treasury and
budgeting, cash forecasting and capital assets reconciliations.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements supporting controller.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective action, provide recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience working in Manufacturing - job costing.
- Advanced Excel skills, v-lookup, SUM/IFs
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
- BS in Accounting or Finance
