Responsibilities:
1. Leading the design and development of new products and systems from concept to production.
2. Utilizing SolidWorks and CAD Design software to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings.
3. Conducting materials selection and design for manufacturability.
4. Implementing and overseeing manufacturing processes, ensuring that products are designed for efficient and cost-effective production.
5. Performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to predict how products will react to real-world forces and conditions.
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and sales, to ensure that designs meet customer requirements and company goals.
7. Continuously improving existing products and processes for better performance, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
8. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
9. Staying updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards.
What you need for this position:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in design engineering.
3. Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD Design.
4. Extensive knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
5. Experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
8. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. A commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
