Job Details
Seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join an established and growing practice in the Portland, ME branch.
Job Overview:
- Responsible for assigned projects, overseeing planning, design, and production of electrical engineering components.
- Maintain strong client relationships and utilize extensive engineering judgment to develop high-quality solutions.
- Coordinate team activities, providing assistance in production to meet project schedules.
- Collaborate across disciplines, emphasizing teamwork and contributing to marketing efforts.
- Supervise and guide personnel on project tasks and methods.
- Demonstrate competence as a designer in all conventional aspects of the field.
- Possess broad knowledge in the specialty area and good understanding of related fields.
- Effective communication skills, critical for professional judgment, independent evaluation, and adaptation of standard techniques.
- Plan and execute engineering aspects of reports, design, and construction projects.
- Handle work assignments with complexities such as conflicting design requirements and challenging coordination needs.
- Actively pursue PE registration, expected within 5 years.
- Report directly to the Electrical Group Leader.
Requirements:
- Education: Preferred BS in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in consulting engineering.
- EIT or PE preferred but not required.
