This is a permanent, full-time position that will play a crucial role in our operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in our manufacturing facilities. This role requires an individual with substantial knowledge of electrical engineering, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement electrical systems and infrastructure to meet the operational requirements of our manufacturing facilities.
2. Provide technical guidance for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, including 4800V AC and PLC controls.
3. Develop and maintain HMI systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify electrical issues and propose effective solutions.
5. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to ensure they adhere to safety standards and regulations.
6. Prepare and present technical reports and data analysis to stakeholders.
7. Stay informed about the latest advancements in electrical engineering and incorporate new technologies into our operations where applicable.
8. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior electrical engineers and other staff.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
3. Proven experience with 4800V AC, PLC controls, and HMI.
4. Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, techniques, and safety standards.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
8. Proficient in using electrical design and analysis software.
9. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
