As a Permanent Machine Service Tech, you will be a vital part of our manufacturing team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our machinery.
This role is pivotal in maintaining our production lines and ensuring that we can continue to deliver high-quality products to our customers.
You'll work with a diverse range of high-tech machinery, from CNC machines to complex motor systems. This is a full-time, permanent role that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities :
1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all machinery, including CNC machines, motors, and other manufacturing equipment.
2. Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment, including diagnosing issues, determining the best course of action for repair, and executing those repairs in a timely manner.
3. Calibrate machinery and equipment to ensure it is operating at optimal performance levels.
4. Work closely with the production team to ensure machinery is available and functioning properly to meet production schedules.
5. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used, time spent, and any issues encountered.
6. Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment, including setting up, calibrating, and testing before it is put into operation.
7. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications :
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of CNC machines and motors.
3. Strong knowledge of calibration techniques and procedures.
4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures within a manufacturing environment.
8. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a physically demanding environment.
9. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
