Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Site Controller to join our team. As a Plant Controller, you will be responsible for managing financial operations and providing strategic guidance to ensure the success of our manufacturing plant. This is a permanent position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making processes
- Develop and maintain accurate forecasts and budgets for the plant
- Oversee cost accounting processes, including Bill of Materials, Labor and Overhead accounting
- Manage material management and inventory control processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and Lean Accounting methodologies
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve financial performance and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other accounting standards
- Lead month-end closing processes and prepare financial statements
- Implement and maintain effective audits control processes
- Provide guidance and leadership to the plant finance team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA, CMA or MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management and cost accounting
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience
- Experience in process manufacturing, preferably in the heavy manufacturing industry (metals, plastics, extrusion)
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems; SAP preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with strategic planning and business analysis
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Accounting methodologies is a plus
