Based in Irvine, our growing and innovative pharmaceutical logistics company seeks an experienced Software Engineer to support our Data Services team. This role will work in close collaboration with our Consulting Svc team internally and with external clients to support a variety of projects across our domain.
Our environment is RoR, Java, ReactJS with MySql on AWS infrastructure. We employ Agile methodology and test-first implementation. Documentation as needed with GitHub for source code revisioning and Jira for Software Project Mgmt and workflow.

This hands-on Data Services engineering Software Development position will have a full range of responsibilities to build, evolve and support data services initiatives through a strong understanding of algorithm, API design, data structure and cloud architecture.
From incorporating cutting edge technologies to designing robust customer-centric integration solutions that scale, the Software Engineer - Data Services will rely on a skill set that includes Ruby on Rails, Java, MySql.
This position plays an integral role supporting our team, products, clients and company as we grow our SaaS based offerings.
Primary Responsibilities:
Be the primary development and support for Data Services offerings
Design and implement REST APIs
Reduce risk by identifying a portion of the application code that can modularized into its own service; set up an API between that service and the main application.
Convert product backlog into implemented features.
Support Data Services clients with sandbox configuration and access, configuration of data services, custom integration activities, and validating data and software integrity
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
B.S in Computer Science or equivalent degree
4 years as a full-stack software developer using Ruby on Rails
3 years REST API clients and a REST API server experience
Substantial web application experience using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript (React, Node, jQuery), HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
