This position will be primarily responsible for developing and maintaining the software lifecycle documentation concurrent with the product development. In addition, this position will be responsible for setting up the software test environment and performing necessary code compliance checks and unit testing/integration testing/software release as the software is developed.
Requirement for the position include:
1) The ability to be onsite in our Lenexa, KS office for the duration of the contract is required.
2) Experience developing and maintaining software documentation for a Class II medical device per IEC 62304 is required. The individual should be very experienced in developing all the software deliverables to comply with these standards.
3) Experience with performing code reviews in compliance with the MISRA standards using a code review checklist is required.
4) Experience developing unit/integration test protocols to confirm the developed software meets the stated requirements is required.
5) Experience setting up a CI/CD environment in Gitlab is preferred.
6) Experience in multi-threaded C using FreeRTOS is preferred.
7) Experience with IAR's IDE is preferred.
8) Experience with the Renesas RA6M3 line of MCU is preferred.
9) Experience with low level board bring-up, device driver development, and RA6M3 MCU setup is preferred.
10) Experience with SPI, I2C communications, PWM control, and PID control loops is preferred.
11) Experience implementing basic controls and display (RGB interface) for an embedded device is preferred.
12) Must be familiar with board level debugging using oscilloscopes, debuggers, analyzers, multi-meters; able to read schematics.
