Responsibilities

As a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer, your responsibilities will include

• Developing, deploying, and maintaining security infrastructure tools to support the entire organization.
• Implementing and managing the software development tools and processes that ensure the security and integrity of our software.
• Collaborating with the development and operations teams to integrate security protocols into our CI/CD pipeline.
• Utilizing your expertise in Openshift, Datadog, Ansible, Cloudwatch, and Terraform to automate and streamline our operations and processes.
• Implementing site reliability engineering practices to ensure the robustness and stability of our systems and applications.
• Proactively identifying and addressing security issues before they become problems.
• Participating in incident response and troubleshooting efforts as needed.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure that our systems remain secure and cutting-edge.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevSecOps role.
• Proven experience with Openshift, Site Reliability, Datadog, Ansible, Cloudwatch, Terraform, or equivalent technologies.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption.
• Excellent understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how to integrate security measures into them.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
• Certifications in security and cloud technologies will be considered a plus.
