The Accounting Department is well supported. The Staff Accountant will report to the Controller and there are 3 - 4 support staff.

Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Staff Accountant to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in General Ledger, Accounts Reconciliations, and Financials. Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Conduct regular accounts reconciliations, including bank accounts and credit cards
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Experience with General Ledger, Accounts Reconciliations, and Financials
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus
