Job Details
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities for the firm including accounts payable, accounts receivables, and general ledger/journal entries.
- Complete monthly credit card and bank reconciliations.
- Produce monthly financial statements for leadership review.
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll, 401(k) administration, and other benefits support.
- Assist in annual insurance renewal process.
- Collaborate with outside CPA firm on annual tax preparation.
- Provide support to project managers regarding client invoicing, budget management, and financial reporting.
- Perform ad hoc requests as requested by supervisor or firm leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of experience
- Advanced knowledge of excel such as pivot tables, vlookups, and logical formulas
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
- Works independently to solve problems
- Ambition to learn and grow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
